Give a team member published training and set an optional due date.

Before you assign

Product location: /training/assignments

The target must be published. You also need permission to assign training and access to the intended team member. A course is one training unit; a curriculum assigns a collection of courses together.

Create the assignment

Product location: /training/assignments

  1. Open Training, then Team.

  2. Select Assign training, or use the assignment action for the intended member.

  3. Confirm Team member.

  4. Under What to assign, select Course or Curriculum.

  5. Select the published course or curriculum.

  6. Set Due date if the learner must finish by a particular date. The date drives due-soon reminders and overdue tracking.

  7. Select Assign and inspect the updated member's assignments.

If no courses or curricula are listed, check that the intended content is published. If the system reports an existing assignment, inspect it before trying to create another.

Follow up or change an assignment

Product location: /training/assignments

Open the member to see assignments, completions and certification validity. Waive and Cancel are separate actions. Select the intended action, enter its required reason and confirm. The reason becomes part of the record; neither action is a learner completing the course.

If the assignment changed while you were reviewing it, reopen the member and examine the latest state before retrying. Direct-report access and broader compliance oversight have different scopes.

Check the learner view

Product location: /training/my-training

Ask the learner to open My Training in their own account. Seeing a published course in the authoring list is not a substitute for checking its assignment.
