Criticality | Choose Low, Standard, High or Critical according to your organisation's training policy. |

Validity (days) | How long a completion remains valid before recertification is due. Blank means no recurring recertification for this setting. |
Estimated minutes | Give learners a planning estimate. It is not proof of time spent learning. |
Primary language | The original content language, such as en. |

Shared module settings

A module has a title, description and a type. Its type cannot be changed after creation. Required to complete the course determines whether its completion is necessary. Minimum reading time (seconds) applies a reading requirement where supported. Grants competency selects an outcome; Proficiency granted ranges from Awareness through Working and Proficient to Expert.

A course needs at least one required module, and every required module must satisfy its own rules. Some older helper text lists fewer supported types; use the actual validation message and these implementation-backed requirements.
Retire content deliberately

Archiving excludes a course from new assignments while retaining it for audit. Deleting a module removes that module and its content permanently. Review the confirmation carefully and do not use deletion as a substitute for retiring published training.
