Turn draft questions into a gradable quiz and understand what resetting it changes.
Draft the questions
Product location: /training/courses/{id}/edit (fallback: /training/courses). Select the intended learning module and its editing action.
Create a Quiz module and choose Edit questions.
Use Add question, enter the question and add answer options.
Mark the correct option or options. One correct option makes a single-choice question; multiple correct options make a multi-select question.
Repeat for each question and select Save draft.
Each question needs text, at least two and at most six answer options, and at least one nonblank correct option. The optional author explanation is not shown to learners.
Make the quiz gradable
Product location: /training/courses/{id}/edit (fallback: /training/courses). Select the intended learning module and its editing action.
Select Make quiz gradable. This creates the gradable question set and locks its questions. Correct answers default to equal weighting; use Question points and Save points to change the points available per question.
Set the module's Pass threshold (%). The editor accepts 0 through 100. Choose a threshold appropriate to the learning objective rather than relying on a default as a policy decision.
Use Preview as learner to take the quiz and inspect the score and answer feedback. Preview attempts do not record learner completion. A real learner must start from an assignment.
Edit an existing gradable quiz
Product location: /training/courses/{id}/edit (fallback: /training/courses). Select the intended learning module and its editing action.
Reset to edit questions removes the gradable quiz so its questions can be edited. After making changes, save the draft and make it gradable again. Check publication readiness and learner availability before leaving the editor; the intermediate draft is not a playable quiz.
The learner interface shows the remaining attempt allowance when a limit applies. Once exhausted, the learner is instructed to contact the training administrator. This guide does not assume every author can override that limit.
