Distinguish private feeds, public suggestions and actual recipient status.
Add the right kind of source

Open News sources. A private RSS or Atom feed belongs to your organisation and is analysed for your summaries. Configure the HTTP or HTTPS address and, for a login-gated feed, its supported credentials. Internal-network addresses are rejected.
Stored credentials are write-only: replace or remove them rather than trying to reveal them. Disabling a private source keeps its configuration but stops polling it.
Suggest a public source submits a feed for platform review. An approved source joins the shared catalog; a pending suggestion is not already being monitored. Include the reason the source would be useful.
Configure the schedule
Product location: /media-monitoring/settings
Open Schedule & delivery or monitoring Settings. Set the send time, time zone, language and summary style available on your plan. Review optional trends and briefs and any configured Slack or Teams delivery.
Keep the watch's own selected audience in mind; it determines which people receive that watch.
Investigate a missing delivery
Product location: /media-monitoring. Open the relevant summary/report run.
Check monitoring enabled state, watch pause state, source coverage, selected audience and recipient status. Opted-out recipients and suppressed addresses are skipped. Removing and re-adding a suppressed address does not restore delivery; resolve the address problem through support.
An empty summary can be sent to show monitoring ran with no new matches. That differs from a failed run or a paused schedule.
