Find the relevant run

Product location: /media-monitoring. Choose the relevant summary/report run.

Open News summaries & reports. Check the watch, period and run status before opening a summary. Waiting, preparing, sent and sent with nothing new describe different outcomes.

A page with no matching filters is different from monitoring being paused or no summary having arrived yet. Clear the appropriate filter or inspect the configuration rather than assuming there were no relevant articles.

Review the sources

Product location: /media-monitoring/reports/{runId} (fallback: /media-monitoring). Use the ID of the selected monitoring run.

Read the summary and open the underlying article links for the claims that matter to your work. Check publication timing and the relevance to your markets and organisation. A generated synthesis can provide useful context without replacing the source material.

Review the watch's inclusion words, ignored words, industries and topics when the result is too broad or misses expected material. Check source coverage before simply adding more keywords.

Follow up outside the summary

Product location: /media-monitoring. Choose the relevant summary/report run.

Use the relevant product workflow to investigate a potential requirement change, risk, supplier issue or task. A news item appearing in a summary does not itself change a requirement, establish a product determination or record an approved action.

Keep the report's date and source context when referring to it in a review or planning discussion.
