Use structured sections, suggestions, comments and versioned exports.
Work in the editor
Product location: /qms/{standardCode}/documents/{documentId}/editor (fallback: /qms/standards)
See the detailed editor and save guide for allowance handling, section selection, save indicators, completion labels and conflict recovery.
Open a QMS document's editor and select a section. Use headings, lists, tables and links to structure the content. Check the Saved indicator after editing; Unsaved means the current change has not yet been recorded.
Use document property tokens to insert references, set shared values and verify their resolution. Diagrams have their own editing and version-history tools; inspect both the rendered diagram and its surrounding explanation.

Review contributions
Product location: /qms/{standardCode}/documents/{documentId}/editor (fallback: /qms/standards)
In Track Changes, locate a suggestion in the document and compare the previous and proposed content. Accept or Reject the specific change. Accept all shown and Reject all shown decide only the pending proposals the current filter shows, so set the filter before using them. To review a decided change again, choose Reset to pending in the All view. Follow review AI changes and verify both the decision and saved content.
Follow section review and comments for saved states, replies, resolution, filters and deletion. Use section version history to view, compare or restore earlier versions of a section. Section approval and whole-document approval serve different purposes.
Export or publish
Product location: /qms/{standardCode}/documents/{documentId}/editor (fallback: /qms/standards)
Choose Export Document. Download produces a local PDF or Word file; Publish to Vault stores a versioned document in the vault. Review layout options, contents, headers and footers. See the detailed export guide for layout behavior, Word options and the observed rendering failure.
For vault publication, enter version notes and choose whether the update increments the major version. Check the resulting file and version. Downloading does not approve the document. Publish to Vault can also approve and lock when permission and readiness checks pass; follow publication, approval and revision to distinguish the outcomes.
